Conclusions of the III MEDA Women Entrepreneurs Forum AFAEMME’s new project: “Today’s students, tomorrow’s entrepreneurs”

AFAEMME has co-organized with the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce and the Association of Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASCAME) the III MEDA Women Entrepreneurs Forum, which took place in the framework of the V Mediterranean Week of Economic Leaders on the 25th of November 2011.

The main conclusions which were drawn from the Forum have been the following:

AFAEMME is glad to present its new 2012 project, subsidized by the Spanish Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality.

The reason that justifies this new project is the fact that in Spain people is more prone to work for others and less prone to be self-employed.

Therefore, this project will consist of educating 16-18 aged students about entrepreneurship with the aim of instilling a spirit of leadership and business initiative in them.

By realizing a series of seminars, experts will pass on some basic notions and skills by already introducing a gender perspective and students...
