Mª Helena de Felipe Lehtonen (Born Madrid 1962).Dual Nationality Spanish-Finish. Lawyer, specialising in Corporate Labour Law, carrying out legal functions in the area of labour relations of large firms (Gas Natural, SDG, Foment de Constructions y Contratas). Co-founder and partner in FES Business Consulting (1991), consultancy and accounting for companies, with its head office in Barcelona, dedicated to l management consultancy, its members include; lawyers, economists, financial advisors, social graduates, accountants….

FOUNDING and CURRENT PRESIDENT of the Association of Federations and Association of Businesswomen of the Mediterranean (AFAEMME) (01.07.2003), head office in Barcelona, made up of 23 Businesswomen’s Organisations from: Albania, Algeria, Croatia, Cyprus, Egypt ,Spain (Andalusia, Balearic Islands, Castellón, Catalonia, Murcia and Valencia), France, Gibraltar, Greece, Italy, Jordanian, Lebanon, Malta, Morocco, Syria and Turkey).

ORGANISATIONAL ACTIVITIES TO DATE

• Participation in the Congress of Women’s from France (Dirigeantes), in UNESCO, Paris (Dec-2002).
• Founder of two Businesswomen and Executives Organisations, working actively in her own region of Catalonia as well as The Mediterranean Basin, having created the ‘FORUM I of Encounters Between Businesswomen’s Organisations of the Mediterranean and the EU Enlargement (January 2004).
• In November 2005 supported and helped to create the first Businesswomen Organization in Guatemala. Presentation of the Project entitled “Labour Market and Entrepreneurship Overcoming Gender Stereotypes Trans national Action Plan promoted by Gender Equality and Businesswomen Organisations” in the European Parliament.Brussels-Belgium(February-2006).
• Presentation of “Workers Mobility Year at 2006” in the framework the European Commission and the Afaemme website of www.womenmobility.org in the Chamber of Commerce in Palma de Mall orca-Spain( September-06).
• Presentation of “Women and job mobility: obstacles and solutions for women in Information and Communication Technologies” in the Archive Regional of Murcia-Spain (March- 2007).
• Participation in the “II Congress of Women’s from the Adriatc and Ionian Area” Ancona (Italy) (May-2007).
• Participation in the first Citizen’s Agora in the European Parliament, invited by the President of the EP. Mr.Hans-Gert Pöttering.Brussels.(November-2007).
• Support to ADIM (Alternative Association for the integral Development of women from Nicaragua) for strengthening of the Businesswomen environment in Nicaragua (2007).
