Mediter EXPO Exhibition

Mediter EXPO’ is an exhibition of the cultures and eno-gastronomy of the Mediterranean that will take place from 4 to 8 March 2020 in Palermo and will bring together the different cultures of this great region that unites three continents: Europe, Africa and Asia. Mediter Expo’ is a rotating international fair that Méditer - Réseau Euro-Méditerranéen pour la Coopération - A.I.B.S.L. - organizes within the Amina project: “les femmes leaders dans la Gouvernance de la société Algérienne”.

Meeting with President SME's

Maria Helena de Felipe, Afaemme's President, participates in the meeting between the new President, Mr. Alban Maggiar, and General Secretary of SMEs United, Mrs. Veronique Willems, with some members of the Employer's group of European Economic and Social Committee, the main objective of this meeting was reinforcing the relations for strengthening the SMEs in European Union. AFAEMME (Asociación de Organizaciones de Empresarias del Mediterráneo) fomenta la diversidad de género en las Organizaciones empresariales de Pymes de CATALUNYA y ARAGON con un programa financiado por el Ministerio de Sanidad, Consumo y Bienestar Social. Mediante este programa se ha elaborado una “Guía para la Implantación de la Diversidad” que se presento y explicó a los asociados|as de FEPÍME Catalunya y los miembros de CEPYME Aragón.

Afaemme signs an agreement with EMEA

Last 22nd November, during the XI MedaWomen Entrepreneur Forum, Afaemme's President, Maria Helena de Felipe and Rym Ayadi, Founder of the Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association EMEA from Tunisia signed an agreement MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) in order to establish a framework for cooperation with the aim to contribute to the integration and the social and economic development of the Euro-Mediterranean region with a particular emphasis on promoting female entrepreneurship and gender equality.

El pasado 6 de Noviembre en el auditorio del Palau Centelles tuvo lugar la presentación de la "Guía para la aplicación de la igualdad retributiva entre hombres y mujeres" realizada por Beatriz Fernández-Tubau, donde representa a Fomento del Trabajo, junto a la Comisión de IGUALDAD y GESTIÓN DEL TIEMPO DE TRABAJO del Consejo de Relaciones Laborales de Cataluña. Esta guía ha sido un arduo trabajo de dos años que se ha realizado en consenso en el seno del Consejo, Fomento del Trabajo, Pimec, UGT, CCOO, la Dirección General de Igualdad, la Inspección de trabajo de Cataluña y la ICD.

Afaemme has a meeting with ESSC President at Foment del Treball

The president of the Economic and Social Committee European, Luca Jahier, had a meeting at Foment del Treball last 23rd October, with the president of the institution, Josep Sánchez Llibre. Both have agreed on the on going situation of the economics at world level and the possibilities of relation among corporations. Also they have taken part at the meeting, the general secretary, David Tornos, the president of the European Commission and European Programs, Maria Helena de Felipe and the International Director, Kilian Garcia.
