On November 22nd, 2019 we held the sixth annual Mediterranean Women Entrepreneurs Forum in Casa Llotja de Mar. Organized by the hand of ASCAME and AFAEMME, this event was designed to accelerate the growth of women-owned businesses through access to information, contacts and capital. To address this reality, the sessions aimed to discuss the new generation of young women entrepreneurs.

Afaemme's President Maria Helena de Felipe attended last week the first edition of the Women Global Investment Summit (WGIS) 2024, organized by our member in Tunisia, the International Council of Women Entrepreneurs (CIFE), this event tooked place on February 23 at the Hotel Laico Tunis. The event brought together more than 500 participants, including diplomatic figures, influential women and investment experts from around the world.

Afaemme is partner with the Barcelona Woman Acceleration Week (BWAW, the fourth edition of BWAW, organized by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona and the Include Foundation, will be held from the 5th to the 7th of March. BWAW was born in 2021 with a clear objective of energizing and accelerating gender equality to help to achieve full participation and equal opportunities of the women in economic activity at a local and global level coinciding with International Women's Day (8M).

Today 23 November was held the AFAEMME annual General Meeting in Zoom format at 11 hours. Several members from our 24 countries participated to share ideas, projects, proposals or coming events in their countries and organized by their associations. For the next Medawomen the 16th Edition, there were two possibles places offering hosting the conference, Instambul or Tangier. So excited to decided the final place for our next meeting!!
