EuroMed Invest Academy for Female Entrepreneurship Support

The EUROMED Invest Academy «New innovation networks and Role of BSOs" is organized by the Chamber of Heraklion - CEEBA, Egypt and AFAEMME, Spain as part of the project EUROMED Invest and aims to develop and support partnerships between institutions and businesses in the Mediterranean Region . The academy includes organizing two parallel seminars with three days duration and aiming to present the FDI opportunities, classical investment methods and funds, private support agencies support, new innovation networks, clusters and to promote mutual understanding and new ways of working. These seminars are organized from 12-14 November in Porto Palace Hotel in Thessaloniki.

The EUROMED Invest is oriented to five key sectors: agri-food, water, alternative energy, tourism, transport - logistics and cultural and creative industries.

The Project EUROMED Invest is one of the main European projects aimed at development of private investment and economic relations in the Mediterranean region.  It is leaded by ANIMA Investment Network in a consortium consisting of 6 members: Eurochambres (Association of European Chambers of Commerce), ASCAME (Association of Mediterranean Chambers), BusinessMed (Union of Mediterranean Confederations of Enterprises), EMDC (Euro-Mediterranean Centre for SME Development), GACIC (German-Arab Chamber of Commerce) and EABC (Euro-Arab Business Council).

EUROMED Invest is supported by a network of 79 affiliated organizations from 26 countries. Moreover, the various prestigious international organizations associated with the project: EUNIC, Anna Lindh Foundation, OCEMO, OECD, Agadir Technical Unit Mediterranean FTA, AIDMO and UNIDO.
