2011 Women's Forum Global Meeting

Deauville (France), 13-15 October

From the 13th until the 15th of October, Deauville (France) will host the 7th edition of the Women’s Forum Global Meeting.

The Women’s Forum for the Economy and the Society has chosen for its 7th edition to draw inspiration from the revolutions in Egypt and Tunisia, the earthquake in Japan and other events which have knocked the axis of the world we took for granted and to hold the 2011 Global Meeting on the theme “What if?: Challenge, imagination, commitment”. The focus is on what committed actors can do to tip the balance for a better world.

Women’s voices and perspectives will be featured along with their mail counterparts in plenaries addressing scenario-driven major issues for people and the earth.
