Second Qatar International Businesswomen Forum

Doha (Qatar) 17-18 May 2011

The second Qatar International Businesswomen Forum will be held in Doha, Qatar on May 17 - 18, 2011 and is organized by the Qatari Business Women Association and Interactive Business Network-IBN.

The forum will resume and expand on the discussion of leading issues of the hour on the economic empowerment of women in the Arab world; focusing on their growing role in business and every other sphere of economic activity, and the challenges and obstacles that they continue to face as they strengthen their leadership and executive positions in an evolving regional business environment. The Forum will also analyze a number of broader business issues that are of particular interest to the Gulf countries and the Arab world.

The Qatar International Businesswomen Forum in its 2011 meet will host a number of leading Gulf, Arab and international speakers, and is expected to attract wide participation from senior government officials, experts and specialists in business, financial and social affairs, as well as representatives of civil society, NGOs, and women leaders in business and other professions and activities.
