AFAEMME's President attending a Round Table on European SMEs

AFAEMME's President attended as member of the EESC's Employers Group a Round Table on European SMEs in Brussels. The Round Table was chaired by the commissioner Elzbieta Bienkowska and there were several other European representatives attending: from UEAPME,  Eurochambers, Businesseurope and the EESC, among others.

The Commissioner highlighted the importance of SMEs for Europe, as drivers for growth and job creation. She also mentioned the need for a better regulatory framework for them to operate, a better access to finance and access to innovation and modernization.

Another mentioned topic was the promotion of youth entrepreneurship and the neede for a greater collaboration between the EC, companies and workers.
