Ninth meeting of the European Network of Women in Decision-Making in Politics and the Economy

The main topics of the meeting have been:

• How to engage senior men to promote women to senior decision-making positions in their organisations
• How can women map out a career that includes senior management or board positions and
• What are companies doing to enable the career pipeline of women to work

As a guest speaker to discuss these topics the Network had invited Mrs. Sonja Willems, Managing Director of Janssen Pharmaceutica.

During the meeting the Director for Equality of the European Commission’s DG Justice, Mr. Aurel Ciobanu-Dordea, exposed the Commission’s recent developments on gender equality.
