Successful V Mediterranean Women Entrepreneurs Forum

At about 200 Mediterranean businesswomen making business contacts, sharing good practices and know-how and analysing the role of women in the economy

Last 22nd of November the Casa Llotja de Mar of Barcelona (Spain) hosted the V MEDITERRANEAN WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS FORUM, an annual business appointment for businesswomen from all over the Mediterranean.

The Forum was organized by AFAEMME in the framework of the VII Mediterranean Week of Economic Leaders and in collaboration with the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation and the Association of Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASCAME).

The event has been opened by high level institutional representatives such as Ms. Joanna Ortega, Vice President of the Catalan Government; Mr. Miquel Valls, President of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation; and Ms. Francina Vila, Councilor for Women and Civil Rights of the Barcelona City Council. Mr. Fathallah Sijilmassi, Secretary General of the Union for the Mediterranean, honored the participants with a speech at the closing of the Forum.
