This project is aimed at supporting the professional development of young women from the Mediterranean region who will have the chance to collaborate for a fixed time with AFAEMME in its Barcelona premises, while receiving individual mentoring by one of the Association’s mentors. The mentor will develop a specific professional development plan for each young participant after analyzing in depth their professional strengths and weaknesses and their specific career objectives.

The project was opened to fundraising through a solidarity sale organized by the jewelry firm GB IBÉRICA 1618 S.L. during the VII Mediterranean Women Entrepreneurs Forum. A total of 500.- EUROS were gathered; an amount which gives the opportunity to one candidate.

After analysing the many received applications, our team selected one successful candidate: Ms. Marina Reithler, a 30 years old mother from Barcelona. Marina is a passionate communicator with a journalism degree and a master in PR. About herself and this oppportunity she says: "My career was put on hold due to the birth of my son and me moving to the USA to support my husband’s career. Now I’m back and ready to make up for the lost time and achieve my professional goals with the opportunity that AFAEMME gives me."
