María Helena de Felipe, AFAEMME's President, elected Advisory Board of the Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association –EMEA. "It will be a pleasure to share my experience so that I can contribute to the transition process in the Mediterranean and Africa, especially in this moment of uncertainty and unprecedented economic crisis," De Felipe declare in a statement.

AFAEMME is partner with a member, IZIKAD, in the project "Increasing the women's Status in Business Life", this projects aims for the better conditions for women in countries from the European Commission. Some of the activities organized for the project were an Study Visit in Barcelona, with a group of businesswomen from IZIKAD, that are CEO and owner of their companies. The objective of the Study Visit was know initiatives and projects in different companies leaded by women. During two day , 3rd and 4th February, we did this activities with successful results.

Mediter EXPO’ is an exhibition of the cultures and eno-gastronomy of the Mediterranean that will take place from 4 to 8 March 2020 in Palermo and will bring together the different cultures of this great region that unites three continents: Europe, Africa and Asia. Mediter Expo’ is a rotating international fair that Méditer - Réseau Euro-Méditerranéen pour la Coopération - A.I.B.S.L. - organizes within the Amina project: “les femmes leaders dans la Gouvernance de la société Algérienne”.

Maria Helena de Felipe, Afaemme's President, participates in the meeting between the new President, Mr. Alban Maggiar, and General Secretary of SMEs United, Mrs. Veronique Willems, with some members of the Employer's group of European Economic and Social Committee, the main objective of this meeting was reinforcing the relations for strengthening the SMEs in European Union. Mr. Maggiar and Mrs. Veronique Willems were leading the challenge!
